  19. DatePack adds commands to AppleScript, which allow date and holiday computation within the gregorian and julian calendar systems.

  23. Why DatePack?

  25. With AppleScript it is not possible to compute dates in the julian calendar system unless the user implements the respective algorithms in AppleScript code before.

  27. DatePack allows to compute the easter sunday which enables for computation of all important christian holidays.

  29. DatePack is not depending on any operating system functions. It generates respective information by using the algorithms directly, thus offering a more common and complete way.

  35. To use DatePack, just move it to your "Scripting Additions" folder which is located in the "System Extensions" folder of your System folder.
